Summary

UPM ProFi Deck is a decking product mainly manufactured using recycled materials. As it is a wood plastic composite, this material is able to combine both wood and plastics fibers. Its best characteristic is to be tough and humidity resistant. At the end of its lifecycle, the composite can be disposed of by incineration or recycled back into the production process.

How is it used

As it is a material charachterized by its resistance to humidity it is particularly suitable for exteriors applications, as for swimming pool decks and terraces. Its variety of colors enable designers to create different artistic solutions and compositions.

How is it made

UPM ProFi Deck is mainly made from recycled materials, coming from the self-adhesive label materials made of paper and plastic, which is a surplus in UPM’s label stock production.
