Summary

As conventional foamboards do not biograde for 80 to 450 years, the main focus of the birth of this material was to make it biodegradable in a shorter period. Insite Biodegradable has infact a polystirene that takes 1 to 5 years for 100% breakdown. It is a standard paper-faced foamboard with biodegradable foam center and SFI certified paper liners.

How is it used

Inside Biodegradable best performances are its highly warp resistance, and its attitude in retaining its thikness during its use (mounting, laminating, printing, diecutting).

How is it made

It is a paper-faced foamboard, with biodegradable foam center. The biodegradable foam center is manufactured with bio resins and 15% recycled contents. The two white paper liners are generated from SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative) certified forests.
