Summary

As conventional foamboards do not biograde for 80 to 450 years, the main focus of the birth of this material was to make it biodegradable in a shorter period. Duraplast Biodegradable uses a polystirene that takes 1 to 5 years for 100% breakdown.

How is it used

The performances of Duraplast Biodegradable are exactly the same as the Duraplast products and, as them, this material can be used for displays, signs, exhibits. It can also can find applications in printing and mounting.

How is it made

It is an all-plastic foamboard, with the biodegradable polystirene center faced with water-proof biodegrdable polystirene liners. The biodegradable foam center is manufactured with bio resins and 15% recycled contents. It is 100% biodegradable and the foamboard is 100% recyclable.
